Fourteenth Annual
For Local Charity

You want your beer to be here!
It's almost time for the 14th Annual Mountain Brewers Beer Fest, and we
hope your brewery will join us. We're centrally located, 2 hours from
Jackson Hole, Yellowstone Park, Sun Valley, and only 3 hours from Salt
Lake. Idaho Falls has repeatedly been rated as one of the country's top
10 outdoor recreation destinations. Last year after advertising,
tent rentals, ice, etc. we netted over $50,000 and this year we expect
to grow even larger. In 2008, we have donated a total of nearly a
third of a million dollars to charitable and non-profit organizations.
Once again we plan to host between 80 to 100 brewers from the Northwest
and beyond. We have also secured coverage from the area's newspapers,
television and radio stations and anticipate a live broadcast from the
site.
ON-SITE ASSISTANCE:
Volunteers will be available to help you with the logistics of set up
and break down. They will move kegs, run ice, help set up, etc. An
8-ft table will be provided for your use and an area will be set up
behind your booth to hang banners. We will train servers to pour and
assist you, (if you desire). We will supply CO2
and ice and keep you posted
on other related
developments. NOTE: Brewers are requested to bring their
own taps and jockey boxes.
If
you do not currently have a distributor in the Idaho Falls area, you can
arrange to store kegs in an off site cooler. The festival crew will then
transport it to the site on Saturday morning. Review our
map for directions.
Important information:
AWARDS – The North American Beer Awards will be
presented immediately following judging, on Friday evening, June 6
in conjunction with the social hour. Light refreshments will
be provided by the North American Brewers Association. Brewers can wear
or display their medals with pride the next morning as the gates open
for the festival at noon.
SECURITY -
We have arranged for a professional
security force. Arrangements have also been made for courtesy shuttle
bus transportation for event go’ers who may over indulge.
POST EVENT SOCIAL
HOUR: We’ll host a
private party for the brewers and volunteers, please stay and unwind
with us.
PROGRAMS:
Our deadline for receiving artwork is
May 10, 2008.
If you would like to include a 50-word paragraph about your brewery and
products, it will be included in the program otherwise we will use what
you sent in the past.
DONATIONS AND
OTHER DOLLAR INFORMATION:
There is
no
charge to brewers for booths.
We are thankful for your donation of time and beer. We
also encourage you to bring Tee shirts, etc. to sell and help off set
the cost of your travel. NOTE: Only plastic festival cups are allowed in
the Park.
PARTICIPANTS:
Please
use this online form to submit the members of your staff who will
be attending the event, on or before May 30, 2008. We ask
that you check in at the back gate between 9 and 11am on Saturday
morning. Only pre-registered participants will be permitted to enter the
festival grounds.
